    No its not.
Who was Pulev, Fury or Wilder beaten to give Wlad that acclaim?

Sorry, it is crystal clear that Lennox Lewis' resume is heaps better than Wlad's. It shouldn't be compared as Lennox' is so far ahead.

      Solid as in mediocrity, yes.

      No its not.
From one of BoxingScene's better historian's, this is an absolute astonishing admission.

Well you can check boxrec. But that's not really the point. Those guys might very possible be the future of the division, and Wlad beating them will see his legacy grow.

if you say so. These men fought in an era when many of the greatest HWT's fought. wlad is fighting in an era where there are virtually no HOF hwt's.

Its like comparing alonzo ourning to nate thurmond in basketball. Alonzo has a ring, more allstars and more all nba appearances. yet no NBA expert thinks alonzo is anywhere near thurmond. why?

Because when Alonzo played, shaq was the only prime, dominant HOF center. Thurmond played against reed, kareem, russell, walton and wilt.

I think thats a good comparison between wlad and larry.

I'm taken aback by his statement.

Just Lewis' solitary Holyfield scalp completely shat's over both Klit resume's. In fact, his Bruno victory too.

Wlad beat plenty of high class boxers. He beat the best of his era. You can't really complain about his resume. He's the best of his era.

Pulev is 32, Wilder is 28. There's not much future to see. What you see is what you get. There's absolutely no solid base to stand on when you say that beating 3 guys who 'might very well be the future' will elevate Wlad to be one of the best. their combined best win is Steve Cunningham!

Bat, are you claiming Wlad's resume is better than Lennox's? I think this calls for a new thread.

So there where many HOF'ers. Ok. Who of those guys I mentioned are HOF'ers?

Another thing. HW boxing is today dominated by eastern europeans. The HOF selection is biased towards fighters who fights in the US. Dont take my word for it. Take Cliff Rold's. He is a voter and has said that himself. There May not be other HW HOF'ers than the klits from this era, but that just might be partly attributed to the fatyank bias.
