"Mighty Mike Arnaoutis hits harder than Canelo, Ortiz, Manny Pacquiao and Mike Tyson. He came to fight. Maidana vs Mighty Mike should fight to face me, the cash cow in boxing."

Maidana punches the hardest if we're talking about one punch. Canelo is strong and solid and every punch is consistently hard.

This is random but although Maidana has power HE couldn't knock out Khan or Morales. Garcia knocked them both out. That puts Garcia's power and finishing skills in perspective.

That doesn't prove anything in my opinion since Khan was weight-drained and had a terrible camp with his trainer away in the Philippines training Pacquiao.. Khan basically trained himself for the Garcia fight, at least for most of the camp.

And Morales got caught using an illegal substance before the Garcia rematch, I think he was relying on some weight loss medication.. He really didn't look in great shape for the rematch at all, it was far from a fit Morales.

So I guess what I'm concluding is that both Khan and Morales could have been stopped by a lot of boxers at those particular times in their careers because of external circumstances surrounding those fights. They just weren't fully prepared to fight.

Now it could be argued that a fit, conditioned and well-trained Khan stopped Judah when Garcia didn't really come close to stopping him so is Khan in fact a more powerful puncher than Garcia? Who knows for sure..

Four pages into a thread on this forum, and nobody seems to understand that physical strength is only one aspect in punching power.

Canelo is likely physically stronger, yes. But does that mean he automatically punches with more force than Maidana? Absolutely not.

We're talking about leverage, technique, physicality, flexibility, balance, bone density, and then of course strength. A lot of you guys are veterans and should know that stuff already.

Add to that, a guy who fought all of them says who punches harder and you still don't believe it.

Maidana does have game changing power in a fight, but he has to land it. Most of his opponents can parry his shots and ride with them. If he can clock a guy unexpectedly though, 9 times out of 10 the fight is pretty much over.

He has a lot of come from behind wins where a guy gets him hurt, tries to close the show, and end up getting smashed for their efforts LOL

he also included that a number of sparring partners that got in gym time with both Rios and himself have said he hits way harder than Rios not that he has anything to do with this thread ..... Maidana was gifted with hands of stone
