Triple G is one of the most feared men in the sport, and undoubtedly the most feared in his weight class. That alone is bringing him some recognition. He's the best at 160.

I wouldn't say wasted because he is fun to watch. I am surprised he he gets to have so many title fights against guys that don't deserve a title shot but he is very entertaining. I think he will still be once he fights the top guys.

At his current pace thats 20 fights! Thats a LOT. Even at 3 per year thats 15. He's in a good spot. Sergio got it done older and didnt have HBO riding his nuts... And look at him. Lineal champ. Hard earned, too! GGG will be fine. His name is out there, hes a stud and has the HBO machine behind him. AND the lineal champ has both his legs out the sport and hanging on by a thread. GGG has this on lockdown. There's some nice 154 guys who will move up and Ward is within reach. He's got plenty of time and the opposition to do it.. Now i understand Quillin is behind the promoter wall, Martinez rounding out his career and not even fit to fight right now with a big name in the talks and an annoying mandatory...but GGG has to chase the next best available and his promoter needs to throw money at these guys. Money talks. He should be chasing Geale and Sturm right now. Maybe Chavez Jr and Bika too imo

Golovkin has plenty of time. It would have been better if he had fought in the States sooner but as long as he stays at 160 he can have a great career. I don't see him as a SMW.
