TS has spoken, you are clearly not a boxing fan if you don't worship at the alter of rigondeoux. TS has a higher mental capacity to extract more enjoyment out of technical ability that us mere plebs view as, (shock) unexciting!

Think about it, it had great skillfull fighters like:

Lara
Rigondeux
Alexander
Porter
Judah
Agbeko

the only fight that really didn't belong was Kirkland vs whatever his name was.
The rest of the fights displayed the sweet science perfectly. No mindless brawling between two cavemen. HBO/SHO should take notice and produce more cards like that. That would save boxing although watching brawlers like Maidana/JMM/Pac/Canelo get exposed by skilled fighters like Bradley and Broner is fun to watch aswell.

Boxing is coming back, all the Pac/Maidana/JMM/Canelo fans that thought it was boring aren't REAL boxing fans

This weekend had some great individual performances. But as far as entertainment, the fights were too one sided. But that's a credit to what Rigo, Paulie, Lara and Porter did in the ring and they shouldn't have to handicap themselves to make a fight competitive.

I thought last Saturday was pretty good. Im expecting a better card this weekend.

Also, pressure busts pipes. Its equally exciting when the stylists get beat to a pulp despite their best defensive efforts.

Alexander is stil one of the most skilled fighter in the sport right now. He got outworked by a fighter that was fighter dirty and made the fight real ugly. It didn't help that the ref was on Porter's side. Still the fight was close and couldve gone either way. I'm glad Porter got his name out there but he losing a rematch
