Last weekend was extremely low in ratings for events with such "big" names. Showtimes didn't do too bad considering their viewerbase but HBOs headliner caused people to turn away. When more people like the undercard than the main event it's a bad sign. The networks will see these numbers and cringe. A lot of those guys will be in witness protection for as much as we're going to see of them.

That statement is not valid. In order for it to be a good night of boxing, the fights have to be competitive. Most of the fights that aired were not competitive. Bums like Alexander and Trout don't deserve to share a ring with boxing gods like Porter and Lara. Zab is a bum. Agbeko is a bum, too.

I rewatched some of Rigondeaux-Agbeko. I change my mind, Rigo is fun to watch. His technique is just so beautiful (****). He reminds me of Ricardo Lopez. It's beautiful (****) to watch these two guys box. You can learn a lot about boxing watching these two guys box. It's just masterful performances from the Mexican and Cuban.

This weekend, though, will be exciting. All guys on this card are offensive, so there will be action. There will be punches thrown, that's for sure. If you don't like punches thrown, you're not a boxing fan. Period. Either you like defense and offense, or you don't like boxing.

          Bika/Dirrell, Porter/Alexander, Judah/Malignaggi, Rigo/Agbeko, and Macklin/Russ all were crap.

Im much more excited about this weekend. All three fights should be great
You obviously didn't watch the bika/dirrell fight or the Porter/Alexander fight. Those were true high level chess matches with a lot of brawling, it was great fights and blood was drawn in both matches. Watch before you follow what everyone else is saying.. Smh

Are you fn kidding me. The Kirkland fight was BY FAR the best fight of the year.

You gotta be fn kidding me. Judah performed the worst he ever did barring maybe the Khan fight, Rigo had the easiest fight ever and boring because Abgeko didnt even try. I dont mind technical fights. Sweat Pea and Bhop are two of my all time favorites because the way they make people miss.

Your fn trollin to trash the Kirkland fight. This aint fencing motherfker.

I enjoyed last week, with the Lara fight being my favorite. I liked the Bhop tripleheader more though, got a KO, cut stoppage and schooling all in one night lol

I am as big of a Rigondeaux fan as the next guy but his fight was anti climatic although he dominated Agbeko the dude got scared and didn't throw punches he turned into skinny clottey could barely appreciate Rigo's counter punching because the dude wasn't throwing that fight was a disappointment to me not because of Rigondeaux but Agbeko's lack of ballz he changed my perception of the fighter i thought he was.
