  • Last Saturday night was one of best boxing nights of the year

Think about it, it had great skillfull fighters like:

    Trout
    Lara
    Rigondeux
    Alexander
    Porter
    Judah
    Agbeko

the only fight that really didn't belong was Kirkland vs whatever his name was.
The rest of the fights displayed the sweet science perfectly. No mindless brawling between two cavemen. HBO/SHO should take notice and produce more cards like that. That would save boxing although watching brawlers like Maidana/JMM/Pac/Canelo get exposed by skilled fighters like Bradley and Broner is fun to watch aswell.

Boxing is coming back, all the Pac/Maidana/JMM/Canelo fans that thought it was boring aren't REAL boxing fans

I appreciate world class displays of the sweet science however too many of those fights were boring and lacked drama. Rigondeoux was the very worst because he was headlining and he had the ability to step it up but he chose to play it safe and cruise along. If he can't be bothered to entertain then why should I bother to watch.

It was lackluster. I did enjoy both Lara and Rigondeaux's performances as well as the Tapia/Kirkland fight but Rigo's fight got very boring though by the 4th round after it became apparent Agbeko wasn't going to do anything. Turned to Showtime and Judah's not doing anything either.

      Bika/Dirrell, Porter/Alexander, Judah/Malignaggi, Rigo/Agbeko, and Macklin/Russ all were crap.

Im much more excited about this weekend. All three fights should be great

which of those fights do you have in contention for fight of the year?

Agbeko was only landing 4 punches per round on Rigo. Do you understand how insane that is? NO BOXER on earth is doing numbers like that. No one. If you didn't think that was amazing you on one. You aint a real boxing fan. I was entertained and alot of other real boxing fans were too.

FOTY goes to Money humiliating Canelo, Bradley shutting out and toying with JMM or Ward putting on a clinic against Rodriguez.

            Pick your choice

Hbo/ Showtime did take notice with the low numbers unfortunately. I see you still label only American figters as "skilled" everyone else is a brawler both JMM and Canelo are anything but brawlers.
