I the AB's KOs early in his career had more to do with the level of competition than anything else. Chins get better as you step up the comp.

As for AB saying what he said. You know I'm not with all the blood-n-guts ****. I mean, I can enjoy a brawl but its not what I most enjoy. But it seems like to me that people take offense depending on who says it. If Maidana had come out and said "I wanna kill this mutha****a." I doubt very seriously many here would object. Not necessarily you. But I think it would have received a warm reception on here. I could be wrong though.

I like when fighters predict KO wins and tell who they are fighting they are in for a long night and are gonna get their ass kicked. But just leave death, dying, and comas out it. That **** actually happens and at the end of the day, these boxers are just men out to perform and win the prize. It's the tragedies that make a lot of fans walk away from the sport, or almost walk away, and any way they can be prevented, the better the sport will be.

Actually I have only seen him fight once and that was against Paulie. I also will not be able to watch the fight on Saturday. It is just something that shouldn't be said and it is not unreasonable to say so. But if it makes you feel better he does have a legitimate excuse because he really is a legitimate idiot.
