Paulie is clearly the more skilled boxer. He's Quick got a good jab and use a lot of movements. He's got a great chin and lots of heart. The only thing he lacks is Power. He'd be busier...outbox Maidana and win by UD.

I'll leave it at that, it's winnable. Maidana doesn't have the best conditioning so he may tire trying to cut off the ring, Paulie may take the championship rounds. I wouldn't bet on this fight though.

Ever since he beat Judah lots of posters have him beating guys they never would have favored him over before he beat Judah. To me he is the same Paulie. Not a bad fighter but nothing special. He is a good boxer with a good chin and heart and a good work rate. He has very little power. He has an opponent in common with Maidana and that's Khan. Paulie lost every round to Khan and the referee stopped the mismatch. Maidana gave Khan hell and would have KOed him with a proper referee. Maidana would walk through Paulie and knock him out in my opinion.

triangle theories.... could maidana walk through a lot of paulie's punches? yes. but maidana is very hittable. it doesn't matter if paulie doesnt have much power, getting hit 300 times never feels good.
