Paulie is clearly the more skilled boxer. He's Quick got a good jab and use a lot of movements. He's got a great chin and lots of heart. The only thing he lacks is Power. He'd be busier...outbox Maidana and win by UD.

    Do you agree???
Pauline uses a lot of movement but when Floyd or Rigo does the same thing its considered running. I guess since they both are of a darker color its seen as running because haters want them to lose....

He is a good boxer with a good chin and heart and a good work rate. He has very little power. He has an opponent in common with Maidana and that's Khan. Paulie lost every round to Khan and the referee stopped the mismatch. Maidana gave Khan hell and would have KOed him with a proper referee. Maidana would walk through Paulie and knock him out in my opinion.
I would've picked Paulie over Maidan Before the Judah fight. A admire Maidana's toughness but he's not the most skilled boxer out there. Style make fights and this is a match-up that should be perfect for Paulie. The only way Maidana wins is by KO but he won't stop Paulie.

I think Maidana is a lot better than Cano and Cano almost beat Malignaggi. However, I think the magic man against Broner and Judah was more focused and motivated than than he was against Cano. Still if its an in shape relentless Maidana I have to go with Chino by stoppage. Judah and broner played into malig's hands by lowering their output. Chino walks through malignaggi and keeps his output fairly high, and its a wrap.

I can see why people would think this as Paulie is a lot more slippery and mobile than Maidana, but Maidana is willing to take one to give one, he will walk Paulie down and stop him.

I don't think Paulie has the legs to keep away from Maidana for 12 rounds.

Maidana would win. Paulie is slick but unlike Zab, MM fights hard and would wear PM down. A PM decision is not unthinkable, but I'd take Maidana by decision or stoppage late.

Maidana has skills he doesn't get credit for. If Maidana was a natural welterweight, I would favor him over Paulie at welterweight. But actually I believe Maidana would win this fight no matter at what weight, but Paulie is a good fighter.

cano is way slower and he out worked paulie and put him down for what I thougth was a clear victory for cano, I think maidana would stop paulie late.

This fight won't happen anytime soon though. After Broner beats Maidana on Saturday he'll have to go back to the drawing board while Paulie is hot right now and is looking to score a big fight.
