Broner didn't adapt well against paulie, i don't know if he can adapt like a floyd or ward if plan a doesn't work. Plus broner's footwork doesn't seem too great. Still, if broner can get respect against maidana and/or stun him, he'll get off a lot.
if you wanna give credit for the ponce de leon fight give it to the right person and that will be ponce de leon cause there is no way broner won that fight,he got a gift on that one

Naw. It could have gone either way. Broner landed the cleaner shots, but Ponce was busier and still landed a lot.

I'm saying of his official wins, those are the 3 he gets credit for. Maidana would be a good win too.

Considering both Ponce and Quintero both outperformed Broner and got jacked Maidana is going to have no choice but to knock him down or knock him out...doesn't bode well on the cards for anyone against this kid because of his stock value to his promoters. If Maidana can lure Broner into a slugfest he may pull it off.

Ditto. Maidana's gonna have to get ugly if he wants it that bad. If Maidana waits, I think AB will stalk him down and cruise to a UD.

You weren't here for that fight. When it was signed, Perez was Top 10 at 130, and his mandatory. It was seen as a decent first title defense. It's nothing that should be listed on his list of wins or resume, but it wasn't terrible.

Ponce, DeMarco, and Paulie were all decent or solid though. Maidana would be a good win too.

Just like being a fan of a fighter can influence how a person judges a competitive fight. Disliking a fighter can influence how you see a competitive fight.

Broner knows that and is preparing for that and will be avoiding that power all night. No surprises there Flores but I don't down them for trying to psyche themselves out.

As for Maidana coming into camp on weight and being super relaxed etc, that's not necessarily a good thing. There is such a thing as peaking too early. You should be climaxing to your max point as fight time nears, not be at it weeks to months before. Maidana and his team may be taking this too lightly with how they keep referring back to the Paulie fight. Paulie feather fisted or not is a special type of fighter and styles make fights and unfortunately for Maidana, his style makes this fight a beautiful showcase for Broner's skills.

                      Strap up!!!
All good points but I would still be elated seeing Broner's ass get shocked with a good night left hook while he is trying to be cute with his Mayweather wannabe "shoulder roll" avoiding a right hand. It would make my Boxing Year complete!
