It's bad, but it should have been expected because of it went up against a showtime card. In total, there were around 1,200,000 people tuned into boxing that night so that's good as far as the health of the sport is concerned.

LMAO where the **** is JSFD. I told everyone it was that bad and WORSE. Through the fight as the cameras changed sides it had empty seats EVERYWHERE. Then when you look at the Kirkland-Tapia bout and look at the arena it was COMPLETELY packed and people animated jumping and applauding... the comparison is truly astonishing.

Rigondeaux is just not a main event guy unless matched against a very solid known fighter. He is going to have to be on under cards and make what he can make if he wants to box in the US (he could try Japan or Europe also). It sucks for him that he has all this stuff that works against (small, not much of a fan base, doesn't speak English, not the most enthralling style to average people) him but not everyone can be a rockstar he is going to have to adjust his expectations or something.
