i tell you what i saw.
sportsbooks had zab walking away with this one.
someone made big money.
if you guys would rewatch zab/paulie. with the thought that he threw the fight. that would explain his out of the ordinary laid back do nothing.
he and no one else is afraid of getting hit by paulie. he just laid there. not answering back. just smiling away. even smiling in his corner on the stool when his corner was yelling at him to get moving.

The bias and undermining Danny Garcia just to justify Adonis. Garcia was neither the top dog and Lucas was not untested. Both guys were without a shadow of a doubt one and two due to Lucas running through anyone and Danny KOing kahn. Lucas was considered the uncrowned king of 140 they then had a great SIGNIFICANT scrap that actually mattered. Someone mentioned it up top, Kovalev fought arguably the better fighters with the guys he fought beating some of the dudes Adonis fought.

I'd take Floyd's two wins over Adonis' personally as Guerrero and Canelo had more momentum and mattered more. Floyd made two guys practically irrelevant via dominations. Canelo went from best at 54 to having everything think hes now like number 4 there. Guerrero went from beating most at 147 to not even being heard from.


Rigo beat Donaire (p4p stud and defending foty) and the once touted Agbeko when the hype was strong for Mares (Agbeko suddenly shot and no longer "good" apparently) but that Donaire win alone is mighty strong.

Wladimir just dominated (i dont care how awful that fight was) the last remaining "threat" this year (one fight but it mattered in the division)... I dont have an issue with Adonis but you cant be the foty if youre widely not considered the best in your own division. He knocked out Chad.. As nice as that was.. Come on.. War KOd chad. Thats like Bradley KOing someone.


Hell, Johnny Gonzalez fought three times this year (2 scrubs one p4p guy) and KOD Mares. Maybe its just me but thats kind of a big deal imo.

Hey Lyle why do you copy/paste your articles from Bleacher Report onto Boxingscene? I saw this on BR a few days ago and its pretty much the same. I mean its your work and your entitled to do with it what you want but it's like its taking days old bread and dressing it up as Bread of the Day.
