    Pac's Bid For Tax Exempt

Edit: There is a campaign for Pacquiao in the Philippines in a bid to be exempt from taxes for being their national hero. But BIR opposes as they have other national heroes paying taxes.

PAC is the Man for phillipine so he does have a case. Some of PAC money is given to the poor only anyway.

Could you point out where exactly it says Pacquiao is running this campaign? Thank you

Doesn't matter, its not pacquiao's decision to make how and where his tax money should go.

Furthermore this is an age-old trick by the rich elite, give a little bit to charity/the poor, when really you should be giving a lot more through taxes which will benefit more people more greatly.

How long would homie be the "people's champ" if Filipinos knew he didn't have to pay taxes like they do? I know Americans would unilaterally resent that shit no matter who it was getting exempted.

                    Jack Johnson, anyone?

They are right though; where do you draw the line? Why exempt Manny but not others?
