I wasn't saying that Canelo and Angulo are comparable. Yeah, they're not the same fighters. And no, Canelo doesn't have Angulo power (although he still has better than average power, clearly). I was pointing to that as an example as how Lara can be hurt. I'm not going to go as far as saying he has a weak chin just based off that performance alone, but he can be dropped. And Canelo is more than capable of dropping him.
And again, I'm not even saying Canelo would win. I'm just saying that it's ridiculous that some people think that Canelo would be easy money for Lara. That's insane. It would be a good fight.Comment

Sure Lara can be hurt but he was hit by monstrous punches and I'm not gonna say he recovered instantly but his recovery time was impressive. When I saw his legs go in the first KD I said fml he's done. But I was dead wrong.Originally posted by Mike D
Angulo had success cause of constant pressure and being able to bully you on the inside. Something Canelo doesn't do. I mean, did Lara suffer from Bradley syndrome and wanted to entertain the crowd? Possible. But I'm not gonna speculate on that.
Canelo does not have the stamina to do such thing and when Trout got on him what did Canelo do? Some rope a dope mimic bs.

I also think Canelo's power is overrated. He landed FLUSH on little Floyd and didn't even faze him.
Another reason for Angulo's attack was the body work. Canelo attacks the body but again, he doesnt pressure like Angulo.
Angulo's pressure consist of him taking vicious punishment and getting to you. Canelo has to be set to do his work, something Lara doesn't allow very much.
