come on man 6,000 thousand?? LOL ... you know miami folks don't attend nothing unless there is a circus attach to it .... charis avalos won't be it ...there is no big names at 122 .... .. i'll be there with PR Champ and a big as group screaming rigo rigo rigo but sadly us cubans don't show up unless there is music drinks and chicks dancing LOL hopefully im dead wrong on this oneI've said this before: If they put a couple of other Cuban fighters like Gamboa and Santana on the card, along with a few other guys from different Latin American countries, they can fill a decent venue. I think they can do 6,000 people. The line-up has to be right and the promotion has to be right.Comment

I know it sounds like a lot, but six thousand is the capacity of Radio City, and that was packed for Rigo-Donaire. There were a lot of Filipinos there, to be sure, but they didn't outnumber everyone else. My guess is that about 50% of the people attending were simply NY fight fans. Maybe 25% were Pinoys and the rest were there to support some of the other fighters. There was a small but noticeable Cuban contingent there, of which I was a part.come on man 6,000 thousand?? If they hold a properly stacked card anywhere in South Florida, never mind the Miami area, there will be plenty of Latinos attending, not just Cubans. You don't think they can muster 3,000 Cubans and a combination of three thousand Puerto Ricans, Colombians, Venezuelans, Mexicans, Filipinos, etc? And we're not just talking about male fight fans. Some bring their ladies, too. A decent-sized venue can fill up quick with the proper promotion.Comment
