His career isn't RIP but his HBO prospects are in a self-induced coma. He won't get the opportunity to headline any Top Rank show in Miami, FL. His best bet is to campaign for an undercard slot on the next Manny Pacquiao card this spring. I cannot see any better option for him than to complete his Top Rank contract ASAP. Just take anyone Bob Arum deems ppv undercard worthy and do all you can to look spectacular and finish him before the customers start complaining. I like the way he took it to Agbeko in rounds 4 and 5. Have a purpose and fight with passion like that in each and every round.Guys, No promoter in their right mind is putting Rigo on a card let alone a headliner. Did you not see people constantly walking of the arena, the fight was a stinker.
When you are supposed p4p 2 or 3 and heading a card you have to bring the entertainment.
There is no way he fights in the first quarter next year, he is toxic no one will touch him, regardless of how great of a defensive fighter he is.
Rigo career RIP.Comment

That part right there just blows your mind how someone can be so dominant so fast by 20 fights he will be inducted in the hall of fame to save time lolBoxingScene.com caught up with WBO/WBA super bantamweight king Guillermo Rigondeaux (13-0, 8KOs) and his co-manager/advisor Alex Bornote shortly after he pitched a 12 round shutout against former champion Joseph Agbeko. Bornote said that he wants his fighter to return to the ring in the first quarter of 2014.
