Why is GGG in discussion? He fought 4 bums.

Stevenson & Kovalev fought 4 decent opponents most of which was legitimate top 10 opposition.

        Also where is Rigondeaux?

He shouldn't have had to though. Wtf were they thinking leaving out Stevenson?

Golovkin shouldn't be on this list, but that is too far. GG has beaten 2 top 10 opponents in his weight class this year, Dereck none.

Who was the two he beaten in the top 10? Macklin I believe was ranked 10th who was the other? Because they certainly didn't deserve a top 10 spot.
Wasn't Malik Scott in the top 10 though or there about?

Curtis Stevens was #9 iirc. Scott wasn't top 10.

I'm agreeing tho, Golovkin doesn't belong on this list imo. It makes the BWAA look a bit amateur when they include him and leave out Stevenson (and Rigo really).

Floyd winning would be an absolute joke. Anybody on this list besides GGG and Provodnikov deserves it more then him.

My top two are Rigo and Kovalev. Kovalev quietly had a strong year.... He beat 4 top 20 guys and two top 5 divisional fighters at the time he beat them.
