This is a time period where basically Floyd was able to look at the mistakes SRR, SRL, And Ali made, and NOT make those same mistakes himself. They didnt get a chance to watch him fight, and learn from him.
He would fight almost every week at his peak, and he was an entertainer because he realised that meant money.

No but what was SRR's weight when he went up above 47 in each weight class he climbed? SRR may have had the power to keep those guys off of him, I dont know about skills. But Floyd doesnt have that type of power. Every fighter has to do what works for them. Its no way in hell Floyd could beat GGG at 160, let alone these guys you name. But at 147, he'd probably dominate SRR, even know SRR can go up and fight bigger guys. So every fighter is not the same.

We you reach a certain weight difference you just cant take the punches. Kovalev would destroy floyd, he would brake him to pieces.

Robinson gave away 16lbs on the scales, who knows what it was in the ring.

It should put in perspective on what SRR accomplished and how disrespectful it is to compare Floyd to him when you realise what Floyd has to do to match an achievement of his.

You think people dont know there history? Floyd is not even close to teh same size naturally as SRR. Floyd was at 130 while SRR was at WW. You dont think 5 classes is enough, e****ally when the guy doesnt even come close to making the wight in the 5th class? SRR was taller and bigger than Floyd. That cant be disputed. They were not the same size, no matter how many dumb arguments you try to make. Its like saying Bradley should be able to do what Ward does, since they fought in the amateurs

Floyd has already matched him to me. Floyd will never fight that many fights, but thats what makes SRL legacy stand out. But are we going to dare compare the skillset? It would be VERY unfair to Floyd to act like because he didnt fight as many fights, that he isnt probably the most skilled fighter in the history of prefessional pugilism? Just like Pac fought a bunch of bums at ww, do we still discredit that he climbed all those classes? Pac has HIS own legacy. Pac did things SRR didnt do, SRR did things Floyd didnt do, Floyd does things in the ring, that no other fighter has done. Let them all have their own legacies.

Either guys are realistic and understand that as good as he is at 147 Mayweather has no chance to beat the best light heavyweights or they live in a fantasy land where Mayweather can beat any fighter in the world. I voted that Mayweather has no chance at all to beat either of these very good light heavyweights. I think GGG would KO Floyd at 154.
