I don't know really. These guys know the risks the take it requires to be a fighter. You don't want guys to get hurt really bad, but how many fights have we seen with tainted stoppages of where the guy who was stopped may have come back and won?

smoger brought the doctor the prior 2 rounds to the corner and asked for a professional diagnosis. I wouldn't put too much blame on smoger after he took those precautions. Corner & Dr. had 2 opportunities to stop, and he let examination continue into one of the rounds. I agree he should have stopped it maybe earlier, but you can't say he wasn't doing his job beforehand.
