    Kirkland/Tapia

Not much being talked about this particular matchup.

Tapia is the betting favorite and just might **** up my parlay.

    Tapia -140 Kirkland +110

The kid has won 7 of his last 9 by KO and has some speed to boot.

Kirkland has been on the shelf since a March 2012 DQ win against Molina which he didn't look too good.

I think this fight will be determined by how the time off affects Kirkland.

    Who you got?
    7
    Kirkland
    57.14%
    4
    Tapia
    42.86%
    3

    The poll is expired.

Is that tonight? Where can that be watched at? Pretty sure Showtime isn't televising it.

Tapia is signed with TR, this is on HBO undercard.

Hes a good prospect. Well rounded, does everything well IMO very mature for a 22yr old.

Recommend his fight with Abe Han (If I recall correctly) who didn't look a bad prospect himself. That fight answered a lot of questions.

I think he easily beats Kirkland. Wipes the floor with him.

Can anyone recall the opponent Tapia got his jaw broke against? I think it was the first punch of the fight. It was nasty.

Pretty sure he knocked the guy senseless too seconds later.
