Arum has to be involved, you can't throw him out. That's promoter politics that only fanboys are going to accept.

Offer a decent split, 70/30, 60/40, get a HBO/Showtime deal and there you have it. If Arum declines, then that'll be the time to blame Arum for it. As for now, the ball is entirely in Golden Boy/Floyd's court in my eyes.

Trying to force out Arum is tantamount to setting the fight up to fail, and trying to blame Arum for it. That's beyond absurd.

As I seem to not be punishing Arum enough for the idiots on this board, i'd just like to say that replying to me (if at all) with evidence from 09/10 or whatever is pretty much useless. 2013 now, different circumstances, hope something can be done. I don't want to blame the fighters for ducking, but I just can't see a legit offer from Floyd atm unless im missing something..

HBO has made it clear they want no part of GBP. And I don't see Floyd or Showtime going around Schaefer and burning that bridge. Not when GBP has Broner, Garcia, and Canelo on their roster.

You're incredibly dense. Floyd kept moving the goal posts on the cut off dates. Something that doesn't even matter if you're really trying to bust someone.

He moved from no cut off date to 14 days. Is that not compromising?

Considering that a 14 day cutoff really doesn't mean anything, and they were both flexing their muscle, no, that doesn't show any compromise.

fast forward to 2010, cut off dates, no issue. Then what? Oh yeah, another road block.

The road block was TR didn't want the fight. After that Manny snubbed his nose at 40 mil when at the time nobody was getting 40 mil guaranteed. And you wonder why Mannys broke and bankrupt now.

And you also forget that Team Mayweather refused a 24 day cutoff.

I'm certain Arum will throw up another road block soon. Which is why May doesn't care whether the fight gets made or not at this point.

Manny needs HIM, not the other way around.

Floyd fought Cotto for a title and at a higher weight without Arum.
I don't know about that, Mayweather might have the dough but he'll never live down that cherry picking fraud moniker without fighting Pacquio and even that might be to little at this point.

The roadblock was Floyd and his team were scared from the jump.

Whatever happened to his first demand? 154 lbs. 10 oz. gloves???

Who the hell asks for that against small ass Manny?
