I don't get it either. Trout is nothing like Molina & Angulo. If we're going that way then Trout is the most like Paul Williams.
Paul Williams arguably being bigger and better.

I think it will be a snoozer,,,

I think it will be a split decision either way, probably for trout, since GBP doesnt want lara anywhere near canelo,, and canelo-trout 2 would probably do decent $$$

Lara does everything better than trout. Trout probably has the better resume though. I see lara winning a UD.

Trout by close UD. Lara is on if the most overrated guys when people talk about his boxing skills. He always looks great when he's fighting tomato cans but he looks ordinary when he fights any decent or good fighters. Trout is a good fighter and I expect Lara to look useless as usual. For someone who's who supposed to be such a great boxer, he didnt outbox Molina or Angulo. And when he fought Martirosian he looked like **** too. Vanes stunk that fight up to, but Lara didnt look like a fighter who was really trying to win that fight either. IMO Trout has shown more facets to his game especially as he has stepped up in class. Lara is also very economical with his punches and Trout has a much better work rate. I just see Trout out working Lara in this fight and earning a close UD maybe even by SD.

a few guarantees for this fight

                1. it will be a mofo to score, alot of rounds with little action

                2. Neither guy will look good

                3. will be a snoozer and go distance

                4. I favor trout on the scorecards because GBP wants to keep lara far away from canelo

Lara beat him up inside, he won every round but the two knockdowns and even then he was winning those before & got up and finished the stronger of the two.

Tbf both Molina & probably Angulo probably beat Trout. Lets not forget the glove issues & the weight where Lara was only allowed to rehydrate a few lbs but Angulo blew up 20lbs
Everything was stacked against him from the start.
Lara was suppose to beat angulo with ease yet got put on his ass and struggled

I felt minus the two knockdowns he pretty much did beat him with ease. Trout & Angulo are nothing alike.

He outboxed him, beat him up inside, survived two heavy knockdowns which would of finished just about anybody. He almost punched his eye out and made him quit. Not sure you can ask for more from the guy.

Ones a tank of a pressure fighter with seriously heavy hands the others a rangy southpaw volume puncher with no pop. I don't see how it bares any resemblance to this fight or what Trout can take from that.
