I think lara wins.I believe his power will be the difference.
Trout vs Lara. Who do you have?

I like both guys, but I'm riding with Trout in this one. I think he has better stamina and he should know how Lara fights. Lara can get really low in output and I believe Trout is more fundamentally sound than say my bwoy the Punisher.
Lara, while being more skilled, has been outfought by the like of Mlina. I think Trout watches tape, adds a lil more to that plan and walks away with this W.Comment

I agree with all of this.Lara will beat the **** out of Trout.
I am sick of hearing people say Trout is slick, Trout is this, Trout is that.
The guy is flat out rubbish. He is nothing but a big guy who throws a ton of heavily flawed arm punches and pulled shots.
He has horrible balance, his jab is about as accurate as I am on a dartboard after 12 pints.
Seriously, he is not good, hes a less aggressive, poor mans Williams with no balls and without the chin and we all know what Lara did to Williams.
I don't know what people see in Trout to call him and elite fighter or "slick".
All I see that Trout has is good conditioning. He can fight the same way in the 12th round as he does in the 1st round. He basically just out works his opponents.
I mean the only reason the Canelo fight was competitive was because Canelo has terrible conditioning, he takes rounds off. Yet STILL with Canelo taking rounds off and barely throwing any punches he still landed like 43% of his power punches and Trout could barely land on him.
If Canelo was in shape that fight, I guarantee he would have knocked Trout out.
Now Trout has to face someone who has just as good conditioning as he does. Plus someone who doesn't take rounds off and has an excellent jab.
The fight will likely suck though, because Trout is going to start holding when he realizes he can't box with Lara.Last edited by Cuban Linx; 12-06-2013, 11:40 PM.Comment

Good conditioning I give him that.
I don't see the skills that others do. I see a big guy with good conditioning who just throws a ton of punches with zero thought.
He has a horrible amateur style & is very top heavy. Really flawed punching technique.
I don't see this as a close fight. I think Lara beats him very handily. I also don't think hes fought anybody like Lara.
Lara seen a dozen just like him in the AMs & Williams. I don't see how the Vanes or Molina fights regardless of who people had winning bare any resemblance on this fight.
Sharper, faster, crisper, harder puncher.
Hes more fluid, better balance.
Hes just flat out better than Trout in every department. I know who my money is going on.Comment

It's a pretty even fight to me. I voted for Trout by ud because he is the best fighter in New Mexico, the state I live in. Lara hits harder but Trout throws more punches. They are both good boxers with good hand speed and decent but not great chins.Comment
