A fight that would make sense would be the winner of Broner v Maidana, especially if it's Broner..but most likely he will fight Victor Ortiz or Guerrero

Yeah, but they basically sold out for short term profit,, Canelo had 2 belts so he could have ditched the one that lara was the mando for like bowe did to lewis,, plus they should have made canelo-k9 when k9 was champ,, he would have had 3 belts then,, fight a cory spinks, k9, cotto, angulo, nelson, etc

He may be set for life, but in reality he already was without the floyd fight, he would have made huge money vs ortiz, angulo, etc...

They did no favors for canelo by cashing him out vs floyd, at a catchweight no less,,

His handlers should be fired for ever letting that happen,,,

Canelo-floyd would be just as huge if not bigger in 2014 or 15,,, let floyd age awhile and let canelo develop into a superstar,,
Dont let the first ppv he headlines to be vs floyd mayweather,, Canelo had no old chavez or camacho to prepare him for the big stage,,,

ANd yes TR lets fights marinade too long but not very often, only the lopez-gamboa fight got spoiled but other than that, Arum usually has imbeciable timing,,

Top rank is the best at building careers,, GBP has never done that, and they failed with canelo and mares,,,

If canelo was with TR he would still be undefeated and becoming the biggest star since floyd and manny,, Now he is one loss away from being a hypejob for life

Yes I do because that is what he does hug and hit in the clinch, Abril is a boxer with long arms he never initiates the clinch, watch his fights and you will see what I'm talking about, what do you want him to do take the punishment? Most of the time is the opponent who goes for the clinch, molina on the other hand is the one that does the clinch, Lara doesn't have an inside game he just covers and then shoot from the tight guard, do your homework...

Probably, but for how long he will be facing undersize journeymen? angulo was his mandatory for awhile and they never look at his way, they used angulo to try to get rid of Lara and even with all the cards stacked against him it didn't work, you don't prepare a superstar by feeding him bums, he has fought two legit opponents ahd hasn't look good, pacquio became a superstar and he had two ko on his record, losing is not that bad if you really have talent and know how to handle adversity, now they want him to headline ppv after being trashed by fraud,

And you think the jump between 47 to 54 would stop those fights from being made? Welterweight and Super Welterweights are 99% of the time open to fighting each other. Every fighter I mentioned at some stage has said they were willing to fight at 154..

I'm not talking about the fight been made what I'm saying is that he has made a career fighting jww and journeymen, so going up 7 pounds is not bad when the heavier guy is your boy ginger, but God forbid he has to come down 2 pounds to fight a ww...
