There is also a strong possibility that he's not better than Khan, Brook doesn't react well to punches and it's safe to assume Khan would have put hands on him in the early rounds if the two ever faced. Both suck though.....

Soto-karass and Maidana are names for those two above but can upset the apple cart but dont wanna see any of them against floyd

Also floyd has a habit of throwing out names and not fighting those guys so it looks like khan but ill wait till its announced.

I like khan too but not for this fight. He needs to win a big fight first
i agree 100%, except i dont like khan. lol

I'd prefer anyone ranked in the Top 5 at 147 and the Champion at 140.

I have no idea why Mayweather-Garcia isn't happening, to be honest.

Doesn't make any sense to me.
garcias team doesnt want it yet, a lot of ppl are knocking them for it but i like it. they know what their fighter is capable of, now and in the future. theres no shame in feeling he isnt ready for floyd, ppl talk about fear and lack of confidence but i think its shows the oposite. most fighters would take the payday and let the chips fall where they may. team garcia believe he can be on top of this game, but they realize he still needs time to grow. they are confident enough to pass up on that payday for now, allow danny to keep improving and have faith he will make that money back and then some down the line.

ohh and its not a duck, you can only duck fighters in your own division. if you happen to be champion of that division theres no reason to rush a move up in weight, especially considering how easily danny makes 140.

There isn't any basis for that, the guy went life and death with a journeyman. Either way he and Khan enjoy the same status as opponents in regards to a potential Floyd fight - meaningless.

          Devon Alexander.

Adrien Broner, I don't know. I'd rather see Broner keep winning and get some more fighters like Maidana on his resume, so it becomes a real big fight. Same with Thurman.

Devon Alexander is already a solid fighter, mopped the floor with Maidana, and has a title.

I think Broner and Thurman will be saved for possible 2015 opponents for Floyd.

I still 100% believe Floyd is fighting Danny Garcia in September then, as long as Danny wins his 147 debut.

And then what if he loses? Out the window then and without an opponent.

The perfect scenario would have been to have him fight Garcia next and have the Khan-Alexander winner for September.

I have no idea why it wasn't pursued this way.

Hey you and I both. I hope they're throwing Khan's name out there, so that Devon Alexander doesn't seem too bad. And I don't think Devon is a bad fight, he's a solid fighter, prime, shut Maidana out, has a title. But I just think that fight has the potential to be boring as hell.

Maybe Garcia will return in March to fight a Khan rematch, and Floyd will be fighting Devon Alexander in May as long as he wins. And Broner-Maidana winner will be fighting Guerrero next Spring, and Thurman will fight the Malingaggi-Judah winner (remember the Thurman-Paulie argument???)

because Garcia doesnt want it yet and I dont blame him at all. He's still trying to build his name and he would get absolutely worked over by Floyd.

                    Nah, Khan's next.

Pretty much 100% now may aswell accept it from now.

Agreed about Alexander but he was dismissed so hard by the public last year, GBP has no incentive to make that fight. People can't dismiss an opponent and then go running back hoping for him later on.

That's why we're getting Khan. He at least has a fanbase that will make up for the fans that say they will "boycott".
