      Smh.

First of all, you're disrespecting one of best of his era, in Cotto. Secondly, you are over-rating Martinez. Who do you think he is? What's his claim to fame? KO'ing Williams? Beating an alcoholic in Pavlik? Oh, wait. It was the fight against a lazy, ****y but talented kid named Chavez Jr., wasn't it? Smh. He's NEVER faced a fighter as skilled as Cotto. NEVER. He's bigger and naturally stronger but Cotto can beat him. Your comment about Martinez messing up his face, well he hasn't been cut in like 7-8 fights. WHY? Because he is a good defender now, thanks to Manny Steward. If you're going to talk, make it count with facts, not just because you are a fan of one fighter over the other. I give Cotto credit for always wanting to face the very best in the sport and never ducking, like Mayweather. That's who you should be bashing because he is a coward and about to face another irrelevant fighter. Smh. Why didn't he fight Martinez when Martinez was willing to drain himself just to be great? My point exactly. Have some respect because Martinez is going to get all he can handle in Cotto just like Floyd did against Cotto so get READY!

Alvarez needs to announce his next fight as well, which is supposed to be scheduled next March.

Martinez is a killer coming forward and can and will get agressive if needed. Cotto shouldnt box... He's a bit smaller. Thisll be a race against time. Cotto needs to make the older man work and fight..especially if theres doubt about his conditioning(layoff and possible training camp difficulties) and body. The thing is that if Martinez is remotely okay he beats Cotto in every way... Boxing OR fighting.
                I could not agree more.

I thought Canelo-Cotto was the interesting fight, it was 55-45 in favor of Canelo IMO..Plus it had the natural Mex vs PR storyline. Also, more PPV and gate revenue potential.

Martinez-Cotto is like 65-35 in favor of Martinez, because of the speed and movement of Martinez.

Miguel 'Winky' Cotto strikes again, first Trout after Mayweather, and now fighting Martinez. And the Winky nickname is in a business sense, not that he is as good as him.
