Not really surprising after two consecutive defeats but any numbers over 500k is acceptable, that's at least 27 million and if they sold 400k ppv, that's at least 21 million. Hopefully Bob stops playing hard to get and let Manny maximize his true earning potential. Bob screwed Pac big time over his personal rifts with Oscar, Bob being a business man should know it is bad for business. Hopefully Manny realizes what's happening and decides what is good for him and right now, GBP has more to offer before he retires.

Manny clearly is on the B side, yet if you bring up this fact the Pacfans will say your hating.I hate to sound as if I am hating on Pacquiao, becuase as I really am a fan of his, but these numbers clearly show that Pacquiao is the B side of the equation.
It's time for him to demand Bob Arum get his arse on the phone with Ellerbe or GB and negotiate with the A side of this equation.Comment

If you're an American citizen, you have to pay taxes to America...aka Rios and Arum and else. The tax free thing was more of a ploy as to why it was there.Comment

Acceptable but it has a grim outlook for a fight (May/Pac) that was already grim to begin with. May's last fight was 2.2 or more. Pac is 500k or less.... that's a 75/25 difference. Granted it won't be that drastic but you're looking at 60/40 minimum....and it to be fully promoted by TMT/GBP. I still was interested in the fight and this farce of a PPV/undercard really grounds you in reality...Not really surprising after two consecutive defeats but any numbers over 500k is acceptable, that's at least 27 million and if they sold 400k ppv, that's at least 21 million. I don't even know what the surprise is.
If fighter A fought twenty times and fighter B fought only 10 times within the same period, what exactly would you expect?
What a lucky guy this fighter B is. His ducking ways paid off and people congratulate him for it.
I mean do people ever use their brains anymore? Even the so-called guardians of fairness no longer apply simple, analytical considerations.Comment

Wait till they release the numbers on how many people actually saw the fight. It'll go down as the most watched boxing event in history.
The U.S. PPV was just icing on the cake. Most of the money came from overseas advertisers and TV dealsComment
