    2. Notice he said Floyd refuses to work with TR on any level

    3. Pacquiao-Rios was one of the most poorly promoted PPV fights I've ever seen; I think Mike Tyson's last fight had better coverage.

    4. Schaefer made some good points but claiming that TMT apparel is booming the way he says it is is just flat out lying. The company's stock is damn near worthless; average at best.

    5. Too many egos involved for this fight to ever be made. 50 Cent was truly a pioneer in the midst of it all but he couldn't even pull it off.

Snapping makes him look agitated and unstable. He showed his cards to easily. He ain't a good businessman or a good negotiator. He showed his true colors.

This interview is obvious. Too much bad blood between arum and him.

Plus the fact that showtime lost money in the canelo and Guerrero fight coz of the production cost and Floyd's purse. They are hurt coz so far as a promoter they are also losing money.
Only winning here in all this drama is Floyd. He get paid wether or not showtime or golden boy earn or not.

Arum, especially at his age, would rather be a part of the big even than be on the sidelines. Money is important but at his age, I think he wants more than that.

the way I read it, you were contradicting yourself. You made it sound that because Floyd/GB have the fighter that has the edge, they should dictate everything and Arum should step aside ..... yet when GB made the offer to Arum who had the bigger named fighter, you didn't say the same (ie. step aside GB).

Uh no! The fight was properly promoted. HBO had a 24/7 it had plenty of hype on every HBO boxing broadcast and its time was even adjusted for US audiences.
It was not poorly promoted, Tarver vs Sheppard was poorly promoted. Heck Calzaghe/Jones was a poorly promoted PPV.

Not to mention that they even had that whole controversy explode between Freddie Roach and Robert Garcia's crew. It was all over the news and social media sites in the days leading up to the fight.

Plus David Beckham showed up to give his support.

I assume you're talking about Mares-Donaire. The deal didn't happen because of a promotional beef. And no, I didn't say GBP should step aside. And I'm really not saying Arum is obligated to step aside now. But the difference with me and your kind is that I accept that certain fights aren't gonna happen because of a promotional beef, as do most boxing fans. The only time a promotional beef isn't an acceptable reason for a fight not happening is when it comes to Floyd-Pac.

Everybody doesn't sit on their ass all day and watch tv or be online like you.

People on the streets usually buzz about an upcoming Manny or Floyd fight; even some boxing gym members couldn't tell me Rios' name. It's common sense to go the extra mile when a name doesn't sell itself.

I don't agree or disagree with it. My point is that its Arum and Pac saying they want tthe fight. And they are the B-side. So of they truly want the fight and have no leverage when ot comes to dictating anything. They're gonna play Floyd's way or not at all. So like I said, how bad do they want it?

Well, his next PPV (Khan) will cost more to produce. Don't know what their strategy will be in trying to make Khan look like he's this killer fighter who's going to take Floyd's zero. In the Canelo, they still spent huge money, but it was easier. People were all duped into thinking Canelo will fight like Margarito.

It will only go downhill from here. People don't want to see another Floyd exhibition mismatch.

Can't wait to see the next PPV abysmal result.
