Great. Make sure you come back and report for sure where he got the #'s from. We all would love to finally see real verification and not just what Arum reported to the media. I'll be here

I just demonstrated that you don't have your facts completely right. You're stretching. I know where he got the numbers from. Not from those sources you mention. He got them from the promoter (Arum) who's been known within industry circles to embellish PPV buys by about 150K.

Here's a more accurate breakdown of numbers:

              Pac-Hatton: 850K

              Pac-Cotto: 1.2m

              Clottey: 700K

              Mosley: 1.2m

              Marquez: 1.3m

              Bradley: 700K

              Marquez: 1m

              Rios: 450K

              Average: 925K PPV buys.

Also, FYI, parent companies don't specify what each fight did in their annual or quarterly reports.

Can't wait. I'll be here. And when you find out that he didn't get it through the FCC, please disappear.

                  • Well, there it is... Mayweather will not do business with Arum. This would like Mike Tyson returning to boxing and choosing Don King as his promoter. I doubt Pacquiao would leave Arum out of the negotiations. Pacquiao will remain loyal to Arum and he should. As far as we know Arum hasn't done anything to hurt him. If this is a hindrance to the fight I can understand why this fight isn't going to happen. I don't think there is anything wrong with Schaefer's offer. If Arum is looking out for Pacquiao's best interest, why not step aside for a fee. Anyone saying Mayweather is not the A-side is fooling themselves. You can research PPV numbers all you want, the Canelo fight put Mayweather firmly in the driver's seat. Unfortunately Pacquiao has to humble himself and make SOME concessions for this fight takes place. His fans like to say how humble he is, lets see if he can be that humble for this one.

We'll soon find out, as I stated the FCC is one of many places to get this information from...you stick to that FCC though on a hope and prayer..since i'm sure you'll use that as your excuse to claim a win..but since I can take the time to reach out to the writer i'm sure you should have no problem picking up the phone and calling the FCC yourself...you know since that way we can share the work.
