As of September 2012 the numbers (CONFIRMED! By Grantland) stand as follows for each mans last 6 fights.

Mayweather : 1.17 million ppv sales per bout average
Pacquaio : 1.06 million ppv sales per bout average


Please explain to me how 110,000k extra buys alone make you an A-Side..or for that matter how the last three fights all undersold to one of Floyd's. Golden Boy Promotions CEO, Richard Schaefer, is very annoyed with some of the recently published comments from Top Rank's CEO, Bob Arum, regarding his willingness to make a super-fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao.

During an interview with USA Today, Arum said his company was ready and willing to make a Mayweather-Pacquiao showdown, and he was waiting for someone on behalf of Mayweather to call his office.

Im glad all this was said, maybe people start realizing boxing is a business more than it is a sport. Floyd is not duckin or will ever duck Pac, Is Arum he doesnt want to deal with. Floyd was a TR fighter once and ran from Arum as soon as he could. Everybody does. People always forget the reason for TR and GBP feud was because pac signed with GBP while still in contract with TR. Even pac tried to leave him. If Im Arum, before pac's contract runs out at the end of 2014, I'll sell the rights to pac for the May fight in sept 2014 and make a nice chunk of money before pac walks because there's no doubt that pac will walk away when his contract is done with TR.

Actually bro what Floyd needs is a truely worthy opponent. The only choices IMO is Bradley (top contender, uni bout etc-..) And then Manny (really just a legacy fight, its past overdue and the hype is more than the fight will ever be IMHO) but just get it made and then both can retire.
