I didn't know boxingscene had some many Accountants and Financial Advisors on there site...but according to them Showtime losing money and maybe going bankrupt, Investor paid Manny's purse, Arum took a lose financial on purpose to plant seeds in China for future monies, and Richard Schaefer, an former Swiss Banker spends $100 to make $3, and that's how he got the gig at GBP...
Oh...I all most forget Manny owes 50 million to the BIR and the only thing you have to do prove you don't owe the money is take a picture of tax forms and post it to boxingscene...Comment

Manny made the kind of money he wanted. Taxes were about 7% or less. PPV sales are mere bonuses for HBO, which spent very little in this fight.
Unlike the Guerrero fight. It's a huge financial flop. We don't even know if they recovered in the Canelo fight which was heavily promoted and stacked with expensive undercards.Comment

Those numbers do show a bit of insight that Mannys popularity after the kayo has dipped. In his peak a Rios level guy would of still been around 800,000 buys. Not a strong number especially if you want to keep paying Manny around the 20 million mark. Gonna have to fight better known fighters and build himself up again.Comment

not justifying anything but does anyone here knows what's arum's deal with cotai casino?
he said the resort gave them some good deal and ppv is just an icing on the cake. 500k was low for a pac fight but if TR is still making money out of it, then no PPV is small.
if a 800K ppv can guarantee you 40M$, 500K should make 25M, and arum only gave 18M to his fighter.. so arum still wins..Comment
