    A-freaking-men.

As an American, when I first got to know Froch, I thought he was ridiculously arrogant. Then I saw him fight Kessler (the first time) and I thought…this guy has no fear: he is a true warrior. I was a true fan, and he earned it. I forgave him for all the s*&t he talked. And when he manhandled Bute? Jeesh.

But now? If he's the warrior he says he is, he has to understand and appreciate that people think it was a pu$$y stoppage. If he doesn't understand that, it sort of undermines his warrior bravado.

Damn...I cannot believe Froch is getting crap over the stoppage. Froch has nothing to do with the ref.

Froch was seconds away from finishing the fight-it was obvious. Anytime Froch landed, Groves covered up and backed against the ropes like a hurt animal.

There are 12 rounds in a fight and sure, Groves was ahead, but I am positive he wouldn't have been ahead much longer-he would have been on the canvas. Groves was gassed and had to fight to keep Froch off of him,as opposed to using his style that worked in the earlier rounds
Ask yourself...where and why did Groves jab and movement go? Why weren't his big right hands doing the same damage as rounds 1 and 6 (the answer should be very clear)?
Though it was stopped around a few punches too soon, no doubt Froch was going to do the same as he did in the Taylor fight, in fact this is not the first time Froch has come off the canvas to take over the fight late...

He is also bloody minded, and his confidence can be arrogance at times. Arrogance that dismisses his critics.

But saying that, he had to work hard and fight everyone to gain the respect he has and get out of Calzaghe's shadow. Maybe the thought that his fans are turning against him will make him give in to the rematch....or....he, Calzaghe did, just wants a couple of big names in America before he retires. Ward and hopkins?

Groves was hurt, but he was standing, hands up, and moving, ahead on points. The stoppage was premature. It was a world title fight.

Froch doesnt deserve any criticism for what he said. We can disagree, and i can see his point of view, but there should be a rematch considering the fact Groves gave Froch was clearly outboxing and hurting Froch early. He did better than Kessler and every other opponent other than Ward.

i am an englishman and big fan of both these boxers.
looking at the fight again, i think carl would have got the stoppage shortly after
however, the saint was well ahead and in the light of this coupled with carls good sportsmanship i think he would happily give george an immediate rematch.
if not, its gotta be andre here in the u.k.

honest, neutral fans don't like seeing one fighter getting screwed over by an incompetent/biased ref and then his opponent being an arrogant twat about it. No wonder they booed I would have too.

why on earth would ward go to the UK after seeing what happened to groves ... who wasn't even on foreign soil. Ward wins and schools froch in every round, froch lands one lucky punch which causes ward to take a step back ... ref jumps in and awards froch a tko. Froch runs around the ring claiming he just obliterated SOG.
