I just spoke with Osumanu Adama 30 minutes ago, he told me he'd been preparing for this fight for months because he was supposed to fight Golovkin instead of Curtis Stevens.

It's a great opportunity for Adama, but I wish we could see Golovkin against guys like Geale, Sturm or even Barker while Martinez is injured. Yeah, we know Golovkin can kick people's asses, but so far he's been the "Comparison Fight" champion at middleweight. His actual resume' is pretty weak as of now.

Afaik Murray is fighting on December 14th, as well as in Monte Carlo against Makubu (?)

My fighter huh. Let me hip you to something. Since Floyd's return fight against JMM, ivve ordered a grand total of one Floyd PPV, and that was Canelo. And the only reason I ordered that is because I was sick and didn't feel like going to the theatre to watch it. In that same time frame, I've ordered five Pacquiao fights. I also like attending live fights, even though I live in a part of the country where boxing isn't popular. I have never attended a Floyd fight. But I did drive down to Memphis to attend Lewis-Tyson even though I had no interest in seeing the main event. I attended to see this young Filipino kid named Manny Pacquaio. And I'm about 99% sure you didn't even know Pac existed in those days.

seems like ricky burns was scared to death, because he ducked that fight like the plague. Also, no one is scared of GGG. Should Sergio step in the ring with a screwed up knee? Is Quillen supposed to change the state of boxing with Showtime and HBO? Barker just got the belt and is fighting a money bringer in Sturm. You guys and this monster talk are ridiculous. while being a GGG fan, this fight is meaningless...

it's great that he's looking to fight 4 or 5 times a year but he's not going to secure any top fighters when he's leaving them this little time to prepare. I'm sure mora, truax or geale would be hungry to fight for a title
