I hear you but greedy bob has seemed to change his tune a bit lately,so i think were even closer toa may/pac fight then ever but will may fight this guy is the million dollar question, you may say yeah ,and i may disagree but thats wuts fun about debating here, they fight on different networks but hey if lewis/tyson can do it there shouldnt be any reason may/pac cant do it
I won't put Pac in it. Because publically he rarely says anything. But Arum and Roach have been doing the same thing since Pac fought Cotto. During Pac's promotions, Arum starts chirping about Floyd. After the fight, Roach starts thumping his chest saying "we want Floyd." And in the middle of all that, usually within a couple days, Arum quietly announces an HBO date for Pac, knowing Floyd already has another date lined up. In the next couple weeks, Arum will start saying he's open to negotiations or even say he's started negotiations. Or, since Floyd is saying that he's gonna be announcing something soon. Arum will soon come out saying he's placed several unreturned calls to the GBP offices. Its the same **** all the time. And he banks on Floyd's haters eating it up. Because the reality is, a pretty sizeable percentage of Pac's "fans" are a lot bigger Floyd haters than Pac supporters. Want me to prove it? How many PPVs did Pac-Rios do? I guarantee you it wasn't 800k-1m. And that's because going into that fight, Pac wasn't seen as a threat to Floyd. With Pac as a precieved threat to Floyd, Pac does a million PPVs with a broomstick.
He felt strongly about it? So I guess beggars CAN be choosers
When you have another option that is almost as good money wise (or at least fairly close).
That was the one time Manny/Arum had leverage on Floyd, Floyd was looking to bank and that was the biggest money out there so Floyd was willing to compromise on most things. He wanted drug testing though and it became a breaking point when one side threw a fit over a demand that should have just been a rubber stamp issue. He also did compromise the testing issue some saying what 14 days was fine.
You were originally talking about money though, why would he take 50/50 at that point but want more later. It is simple he was in better financial shape thus felt he could demand what he wanted.

The ppv buyz dnt mean nothing,i just think people are tired of. Pac fighting the rios and may fighting the guerreros of the world..it doesnt mean if pac and may actually got in the ring they break the all time ppv recprd i believe...mayweather vs khan wont break 1mil,niether did may vs guerrero
How Bradley hasn't been made the mandatory to floyd even though he's undefeated with two defenses to date is absolutely ridiculous.
For real. No argument that a fight with Khan at Wembley would be a far bigger money event but there's a limit to how much ridicule the sport can endure with these lame commercial offerings. I'd rather see Broner spark Khan than the latter geting a huge payday against Floyd.
