The one match that would be boths biggest payday, and somewhat ( the fight should've happened already ) define Floyd's legacy as truly the best of this era.

But, Floyd can fight Khan and avoid the one fighter who can test him. He's still the greatest ever

Why doesnt Pac try to say May? Push for the fight and stand your ground instead of "up to my promoter" like we got after Rios. Floyd is the Champion not Pac. Floyd doesnt need Pac but Pac needs Floyd. Dont think so then stop with this talk.

Floyd 'not needing' Manny is another cop out. Manny has stated his desire for this fight over and over, yet floyd doesnt seem quite so keen and never really has. It didnt cut it as an excuse with boxing fans 4 years ago and its getting embarrasing now.

I imagine the fight will be at welter, unless a big money fight against Martinez beckons (doubtful). I could see Khan as a tune-up but they better put that fight off PPV and on CBS. I would prefer for it to be Garcia but I haven't heard anything on that front. I really have no idea. Thoughts?

I think the chances are extremely likely it will be at Welterweight as will be his remaining 3 fights after this.

I think it's going to be Khan, sadly. Just too many things pointing to it. Khan strangely pulling out of the Alexander fight for no apparent reason other than "I've been offered a bigger fight", apparently he has a May date set, etc etc.

It will definitely be on PPV aswell. 100%.

I think there's still some hope it's Garcia. Atleast the timing is right for it to be Garcia and it makes a hell of a lot more sense than Khan does.

Myself, I'm hoping it's Garcia. That's IMO the best fight out there for Mayweather right now.

WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (45-0, 26KOs) is looking to finalize his next opponent some time next week. Speaking with reporter David Mayo, Mayweather said he is not thinking about boxing at the moment but intends to get things in motion and hopefully wrap them up next week.
