I find this really offensive to the fans. What does he mean Pacquiao who? We're only talking about the joint biggest name in the sport.

I think its high time we as fans started saying "mayweather AND pacquaio who?" "oh right, those guys that don't fight. Sorry, I only follow fights that happen."

I'm only interested in those great fighters that consistently look to fight the best they can, regardless of what their paymaster thinks. Real warriors whose bravery to get in the ring with whoever whenever should be applauded and rewarded by the fans.

Okay, lets say he fights Pacquiao, which would be moronic given all that Manny's done to warrant their match-up since he was knocked to kingdom come was beat a motionless target in Brandon Rios. Why would a fight like that make sense, what's the intrigue going to be since Manny wasn't able to stay on his feet a couple fights ago? So other than the underwhelming accomplishment of beating Rios what has he done to warrant a match with Floyd?

Simply because Pacquiao has a legion of lunatic fans doesn't mean they get to will him to the front of the line. The most important factor to remember is that Manny is under contract and fights according to the dictates of his promoter, always has and always will. How does a Floyd fight happen in the light of those realities?
