I don't think you can "justify" the fight. But you do have to realize that every fight isn't gonna be a superfight. Look at any fighter in history that you consider an ATG. You'll see that between the fights that we remember and the fights that defined their careers. There are names that we've never heard of.

It doesn't have to be a super fight, but Khan has to earn the fight by beating a decent opponent first, not an unknown gatekeeper like, Julio Diaz. The Guerrero fight was a **** fight too, but Guerrero had two decent solid wins at WW to earned the Floyd fight and even that wasn't enough. There's really no selling point to a Mayweather-Khan fight.

I want to see Mayweather-Garcia happen too, but as Team Garcia said, they have to test the waters at WW first and i agree with them. Any Mayweather-Pacquiao discussions should belong on the Fantasy fights section at this point.
