All I know is Stevenson is scared of Kovalev... I never hear anyone stutter talking about Triple G who fight smaller guys.
Big Difference Between Kovalev and Golovkin

I think a huge difference is their resume and the pace that Kovalev is getting his names in. Golovkin has Proksa(not good), Rosado(not top 10 when fought), Macklin and Stevens, but spread out through over a year. Kov has his in 11 months.
Campillo, Cleverly, Sillakh, that's 3 very good wins within a year. Solid resume, very good actually, for a guy who just burst onto the scene in January of this year. So it hasn't even been a year of him being widely known among fans and already has a way better resume than Golovkin, and IMO legit momentum, not fan made. He forced himself into being respected. I doubted him against Sillakh and he proved me wrong.Comment

Pac has said he's never fighting at 154 again, he's clearly not comfortable there. Can't blame him anyway, he's a small 147 pounder, he could still make 140 easily.
Floyd has titles at 154 and looks pretty comfortable fighting there against the right names for the right money. GGG is only slightly bigger than Canelo.Comment

There were no rounds when Stevens landed consistently on GGG though 4 and 5 were his best. The best shot that he landed snapped GGGs head back, but didn't actually appear to hurt him (though it might have done if he hadn't seen it coming).Comment

i like both fighters a lot, but the difference is obvious to anybody who knows boxing.
gennady is just a better boxer and by some margin. anyhow i give kovalev much better chance of beating ward than i give to ggg.
ggg-kovalev is nonsense.Comment

I like Golovkin much more but I think Kovalev is the more impressive fighter based on their last few fights and potential upside.Comment
