Manny fans serious question..do you hold Floyd at a higher standard then Manny?

SURE THEY MAY HAVE HAD BETTER OVERALL CAREERS.
As far as what they have done at welterweight, Bradley and Marquez are not great welterweights and only have 1 good win each at the weight.

Their are other top ten guys out their for manny...we are tired of recycled fights

True what you say, but manny-jmm is one of the greatest rivalry ever, hell lamotta-srr fought six times,, To my knowledge manny-bradley has only happened once, so i dont know how that can be recycled,, Sometimes when there is a bunch of great fighters close in skill level and weight we get alot of the same type fights ala SRL-benitez-duran-hearns-hagler, or more recently jmm-manny-MAB-morales

He does fight pound for pound guys. In recent years, Canelo, JMM, Hatton and Mosley were pound for pound. Then he'll probably take Garcia later next year.

At 147, I would've liked to see Manny fight Mosley sooner than he did. Roach saying Mosley was "too good" made Manny look horrible there. I thought Bradley was a good fight for Manny when they fought. Mayweather is the main guy I wanted him to fight.

I hope floyd fights garcia,, garcia has proven himself and deserve a shot, he is a much better candidate than ghost, ortiz, canelo,, Garcia has better wins over khan, lucas, holt, zab, morales than all those guys combined

Good post.....I'm just amazed at how the pachuggers, were on here daily stating Mayweather would never fight the guy and how he is scared of Canelo. Then he signs the fight and they swore Caenlo would beat him. After the fight, Mayweather was given no credit by this group and now Canelo is a scrub. I'm not a huge Mayweather fan, but I find myself defending him more than I want too, because these idiotic fans. Pachugger remind me of Dallas Cowboy fans.....clueless about everything else, except for what their guy does.

yeah i cant stand pachuggers that dont respect floyd's amazing once in a generation skills, but i also cant stand floydhuggers that think he fights nothing but the absolute best,,,

I thought Canelo's #10 P4P ranking was fitting. Guerrero was P4P? That's insane, but he was a hungry #1 contender. Solid win in my book.

You make excellant points,, In regards to the guys you listed that manny should fight, thats some great fights but nearly all those guys became relevant over the past year, and where nowhere on the radar when manny signed to fight jmm3 or bradley....
Nobody wants to see alexander after he quit vs bradley, plus then he beat maidana by a wide Decision, pauli and zab were on the scrap heap,,, broner was still at the lower weights, and thurman and garcia were barely names,, but yes those would be all quality fights now for manny but not in late 2011,12

I think most Manny fans held Floyd at a higher standard, simply because they ask him to take on tougher challenges than they request of Manny.

Most are simply fan with Manny fighting fighters coming off loss, such as Rios, nevermind if Pacquiao was not coming off a KO, they would have justified the Rios fight either way that he was a hardcore Mexican that wasn't gonna run like Gayweather.

Roberto Duran was a small guy that fought MUCH bigger fighters, Duran was smaller than Manny, but do you see people asking Manny to fight GGG, Martinez, Canelo??? as they did Mayweather? No, because they don't feel very confident in Manny's skill.
