Duran was a WARRIOR, a true warrior, fought the biggest and best guys, and went up to higher weight classes.

Durans style would be no different than seeing Manny calling out Glovokin...Duran didn't win all of those RISKY fights, but he gets credit for trying.

Not really, there optimum weights were pretty similar, Manny fought at 130 and weighed in at welter while Duran fought at lightweight.

I just feel that manny tops out at 149-150 max whereas duran could top out at 160, so there is about a 10 pound differenc

and duran started at 118, but manny started about 108, and i ive heard stories of actually being barely 105, so once again manny is slightly smaller,,

I think duran is more the size of floyd, with manny being close when comparing the 2, but manny cant reach the levels of mw and not be a fat ass, whereas duran could still pull it off

yes you are right.... good duran was a bit bigger than manny. yes he fought at 168 but duran was far past it. pacquiao could fight at 160 and 168 too if he was out of shape like duran was (and old)

Duran was a bloated middleweight, he looked small and chubby, that doesn't make him bigger than Pacquiao. So what if Pac started at a lower weight that doesn't mean much he hadn't grown to his optimum size, was Carpentier smaller than Duran and the same size as Manny? Were Rees and Broner the same size?

i dont know if he was bloated,, he looked pretty good vs hagler,, Oscar looked bloated vs sturm and hopkins

Manny's optimum size is basically 147ish,, Freddie roach has said they have to stuff manny with food in order for him to even get near 150, let alone 160..

As for JMM I said it before and Ill say it again....he's a mediocre WW. That's it nothing more nothing less. Bradley I'm still not sold on tho, he beat JMM who to me is average at 147, lost to pac (unofficially), and almost lost to ruslan. He was impressive at 140 but so far hasn't looked great minus the JMM fight. So to the point of the topic yes Floyd is held to a higher standard as he should be. That being said people don't want to admit it.

yes he was,, and abregu is now #1 contender to floyd,, but alot of idiots dont want or know that, so they spout off like bradley hasnt done anything at welter
