I don't see him taking both fights. Yah Cotto is fighting like he's young again (as of his last outing) but his body will still recover like an older man. Both of those fights would be taxing for Cotto, not to mention that if Cotto loses the 1st fight, the fight with the other likely gets pushed back as a possibility depending on how bad he looks in losing. Smart to take Martinez first because if Cotto loses to him, Canelo will still be around later. But if Cotto chooses Canelo first and loses, Martinez may be retired before Cotto gets the opportunity to fight him.
