Two physically draining fights though! I would advice Cotto to fight Sergio first, take a tuneup fight later in the year and fight Canelo March-June or so of 2015.

If he loses to Canelo there is no way you can justify him getting a shot at the lineal MW title in his next fight.

If he loses to Sergio he can say the weight jump was too much and can still fight Canelo.

If the plan is both, Sergio had to be first.

Cotto at 154 wasn't too much of an issue for Floyd, doubt we see a rematch ever.

Will this fight take place at the full MW limit 160? .... if so, cotto has less of a chance. Martinez will go up to like what 170!!? I thought they were going to fight at like @ 157 to accommodate cotto's smaller stature.

Cotto-Martinez for the MW championship of the world. I told everyone this was the fight they were gonna make. Dictating to Cotto only annoyed and pissed him off. Canelo-Molina live on PPV What a joke.

Great for Cotto he deserves all these big fights. Hes been the 3rd biggest draw along with Marquez all these years. The times perfect to fight Martinez first cuz oth are getting old and at least they are still somewhat in their tailend of prime.
Canelo can wait. Wished he fought Marquez too but Marquez ont want it
