Because if you really want to go down that route, we can easily pull up fights where British fighters have been given the wrong end of the stick.

it's not about that. Pala turned his back before Chisora threw a rabbit punch. A guy turns his back like that in the ring, he's asking for trouble.
Seriously? So O'Connor waving the fight off and then chaning his mind after hearing the bell and carrying semiconscious Cleverly to his corner in round 3 was completely normal?

And he didn't complain which pretty much tells you everything. And it was surprising as he put up a good fight in the first couple of rounds.

I can see the point, but an international referee would have been assigned for that fight anyway, neutral judging etc, so I can't see it as an issue. Ward's team are very smart people and would have sorted everything out before the fight happened.
I don't think anyone's too bothered about Ward coming over anyway, there are far more entertaining fights out there for UK Super-Middleweights.

tbh I haven't seen the fight since I saw it live.

It might be true, don't remember what happened. But obviously if that happened, it's not good.

Some are bothered enough to accuse Ward of ducking, which is beyond laughable.

              Agreed.

At this stage, I would like to see the rematch with Groves first of all. If that doesn't happen a second fight I'd like to see Froch in would be the 3rd Kessler fight. After which I'd expect both to retire.

I don't really fancy a GGG fight or a Chaves jr fight especially much.

Why not? Both would be potential FOTY candidates, what's not to like?

Has Froch ever fought in Vegas? Tbh I think he deserves a fight there. Chavez Jr would be epic.....if he can make 168!

Groves II, winner fights DeGale is my preference.

I don't think the issue with Ward is ducking Froch, as much as avoiding fighting overseas whether it be UK, Denmark or Germany.

Well, Chavez jr is just overrated that's why I don't like that fight. He's never fought at SMW and let's be honest, hasn't really impressed at MW and lost his last fight against Vera.

GGG vs Froch would have been a good fight after the Kessler fight. I don't like it because I think Froch would lose. He took too much punishment in the Groves fight to go in there with GGG imo. That's just me being honest.
