It was a dodgy stoppage and nobody knows what would've happened in the final 3 rounds and I wouldn't like to speculate.

If Froch takes a Chavez Jr fight, it'd be a joke... a GGG fight would be ok i suppose but GGG is a natural middleweight... the Ward fight just isn't going to happen unless Froch decides he wants to go to America.

i don't think his rep is that tarnished. only by disgruntled fans. if you don't pay for tickets to his fights i don't think he cares what anyone thinks. he is arrogant, wealthy & living a good life. he's going to the hall of fame & has had a very solid career. i have seen robberies in boxing & this was not anywhere close to being a complete robbery. maybe early? yes but it could be argued that it was a good stoppage as well. if jean pascal beats Lucien bute i could see pascal\froch 2 in Quebec, ward\froch 2 in vegas, etc... to be honest i would rather see those fights before a groves rematch. i bet groves will still get big fights after that loss. some fighters gain more from a loss then they do from any win. vitali klitschko after the lennox loss, fres oquendo lost to byrd but was given another shot but against ruiz, chisora got a title shot after losing to helenius... he gained new fans & will get other big fights now but he will have to make them count.

He got beat by Dirrell and won a split decision in his own hometown! btw he was booed then as well. He got beat by Kessler. The truth of the matter is that froch got knocked dwon in the first round, then got systematically outfought, outgunned, and outpunced, the next 7-8 rounds. then he lands a punch that momentally freezes groves, he then bumrushes and windmills 30 punches that dont land and the crocked judge stops the fight.

Froch, if you dont gives groves a rematch then retire becuase unless you fight Groves again, your legacy is down the toilet and all the intregerty you have gained as a fighter will be forever tarnised and brought up when ever you speak
