It seems no one would really care for this fight, and I can't see why. Sure, I don't think Danny would beat Floyd, but he's as deserving as anyone around Floyd's weight right now. He's beaten Khan, Judah, and the big bad horrifying killer Lucas Matthysse. He's universally regarded as the best 140 fighter in the world, will be stepping up in weight. He deserves Top 10 P4P consideration after handling Lucas.

I don't see the problem with this fight. It's basically the same scenario that Mayweather-Hatton or Pacquiao-Bradley were. Undefeated #1 140 fighters deserving of Top 10 P4P consideration.

Now if he fights Khan next, then you have something to b*tch about.

No, he earned it fair and square. Better than a Khan fight for sure. I mean, it would be a one sided beatdown but that's every Floyd fight. But he still the better available opponent for Floyd.

Khan would be a weird cherry pick coming off the loses and terrible performances, but I still think he'd give Floyd more trouble than Garcia. Garcia definitely deserves it more though. Golden Boy is probably telling him to step aside temporarily to cash out on khan.

it's a good fight, but that fight has way more potential down the road. down expect that fight happen until next year in sept.

It's one of the better ones at welterweight. But I don't think Garcia is too keen on that fight just yet.

not a bad fight at all. i swore matthysse would demolish garcia but swift fought a great fight and stuck to his gameplan. i put garcia in my p4p top 10 after that win. much better fight than khan, alexander, or anyone else at 147.

obviously excluding top rank fighters.

It's one of Floyd's better options (not including Top Rank fighters) but a fight that would be better in a year or so if Garcia can keep winning. Also, it doesn't really seem like Garcia wants this fight at all and seems to be avoiding it at all costs.
