If Garcia doesn't want the fight, then I don't want the fight.

Until Garcia somewhat convinces me that he's hungry to beat Floyd, and take his shine, how am I supposed to be amped up for a fight where the challenger pretty much admits, he's not beating Floyd?

Boxing is 90% mental for the fighter, and the consumer. At least Guerrero and Canelo could kind of put a seed of hope in your mind with their **** talking.

Danny Garcia is good, but he's obviously beatable, I mean ANYONE is. I think Golden Boy would be ****** to let this fight pass up right now, given the chance Danny could lose at any time.

Meanwhile, if they're so keen on May-Khan happening, let Khan fight Guerrero early next year, then maybe Alexander/Porter winner. If Khan actually does something legit at 147, I don't think too many would hate on it.

If there's one man in boxing thats earned his stripes and where hes at its Garcia. He wasn't suppose to beat Khan, Matthyse etc. Khan and Matthyse were set up to win and fight Mayweather, but Garcia ruined it! He def deserves the May fight more than GUerrero, and even Canelo, but he don got a big following and the ppv buys will prob do the same as Guerrero

I mean, if Floyd doesn't fight Danny Garcia in May, who's he fighting realistically???

Bradley and Pacquiao are Top Rank, and I'd bet my life they'll fight each other again in April.

So who is there??? Devon Alexander if he beats Porter. Ehhh not a very good fight, but at least Devon is a legit WW right now and a solid fighter. Still.....not a desirable fight AT ALL.

Khan....trust me this is like the Paulie, Alexander last Spring, Guerrero in May 2012 rumors. Not happening. If Floyd does this, it's his worst fight since Sharmba Mitchell in 05'. Yeah, that bad.

Whatever do you mean?? Amir Khan, his fans and Khan fans will defend it. Then Floyd fans will cry when he gets no credit, then they'll compare Khan to Martinez.

Danny and especially Angel don't want to fight Mayweather, yet. Everyone talks about unproven fighters to fight Mayweather.. yet Danny hasn't done anything at 147.

The fact that Mayweather is P4P #1 with more than 2 champs in the 147 division makes me a bit sad.

He should of taken back the IBF belt, or better even unify the titles. Its just a shame that him vs Bradley and Broner may never happen.

Well at least Amir Khan is willing to go in there and fight Mayweather, glass chin and all. It's a shit fight, but there would be more hype and buzz since Amir actually shows a desire to try to beat Floyd. Garcia doesn't want the fight, he's on record basically admitting as much. As BUNGALOWS said, this fight would be hard to hype up if it's forced upon Garcia who seems to have no interest of fighting Floyd right now.

Why would you want to see a fight where one fighter is reluctant
to fight? Garcia's dad had said his son is not ready for it yet.
But who are fans to pick fights for Floyd da best? Who can stop
Floyd from fighting a reluctant Garcia?
I'll be curious how it would sell.

I don't think Garcia wants this fight just yet.

He should of had the IBF belt a long time ago.
Maybe Mayweather will be fighting Devon Alexander in May. I wouldn't "hate" it, it's unifying titles against a decent/solid enough fighter. I would just have a hard time getting hyped for that fight.
