April 12th he'll face Bradley or Cotto. I'm fine with either one. Maybe if he wins then he gets Mayweather the next year. The issue is not the network. Manny fought Mosley on Showtime -- did people forget that?? But I don't see Arum wanting to do business with GBP. Plus, Manny isn't negotiating from a position of strength. I strongly suspect most of his last few PPV's have flopped and that's why Arum blocks HBO from releasing #'s then concocts his own. Are they willing to give all that to Floyd/GBP? Doubt it.

I agree. I honestly do not see how this fight gets made. Too many variables and people wanting their "share" of all the money it would generate. Even if they do agree on weight, ring size, glove size, location, drug testing, the money split will continue to be the stopping point at this time. I do not think either side will ever agree on a good split.

Yes this is good news! I hope that it would be made very soon, as they're aging really fast now. Floyd is slowly losing his stupendous footwork, pac's killer instinct is no where near now than he was pre-bradley fight.

I hope that floyd fans will stop condoning that floyd need not fight pac anymore because on paper he is better, we already know this. Please let us not floyd escape this fight, we want to see this as fans, hardcore or not. WE DO NOT WANT THE FIRST SUPERFIGHT OF OUR GENERATION TO EXIST JUST ON OUR MIND. What's to explain? If Top Rank have a deal with HBO it doesn't matter that Pacquiao doesn't.

So why would HBO even entertain the idea of signing an exclusive contract with Arum if Arum's contractually obligated superstar could fight on a competitor's network whenever he wanted to?

HBO would essentially have nothing to really gain bu signing any kind of a deal with Arum, they would have signed Manny to the deal, not Arum.
