I've been lurking for ages and have read seen most opinions regarding floyd and Manny.
Maybe i'm getting old or havent payed good/enough attention, but this is my million dollar question regarding floyd vs pacman...

When was the last time floyd fought an 100% Top Rank/Arum fighter? I started following floyd and manny post the floyd vs de la hoya fight.

So i would like to know how consistent/consequent floyd is regarding NOT FIGHTING Top Rank fighters. Does he dodge some but fight others???

Maybe im crazy but at the moment this is my million dollar question. I prefer rational debates based on facts to come to a conclusion. so please dudes just names of 100%Arum fighters that he has fought and preferably a date added.

I know this topic has been going on for years and i myself was bored/irritated untill this question haunted me. I just want to know how consistent Floyd is.

I know you dudes know everything about the matter and did has to have been asked and answered atleast a 10.000 times. i just missed it i geuss or i dont know who's under Arum 100%. im sorry for that. To be concrete Cotto is a fighter that doesnt seem to be 100% Arum nor Haymon.

Yet bob and manny knew floyd had the mgm reserved for may 5th weekend so they announce he's coming back april 12th. So it sounds like the same ole stuff.

Let's hope the fight gets made. But if manny turns it down again for whatever reason be man enough to hold him accountable the same way you have been doing to jmm and tim for their turning down deals.

He's gotta run for congress again....oh wait nope. Well the MGM is nice but Arum's building a stadium for the Floyd fight...did they start construction yet? Arum always has roadblocks...I think if he wasn't in the picture Pac and Floyd would've fought years ago.

The crazy part of this entire mess is that Floyd has his little fanboys in one corner and Pacman has his little fanboys in his corner acting as if this fight is something special. It would have been in 09/10, but it's a laughable joke in 2014 and both are to blame.

True and it's not like he avoided them really...the moment they left top rank he signed on to fight them like Cotto. It's odd how every says he's ducking TR fighters but the second they leave he is all about it....

Yes. According to this deal Showtime is granting Floyd no less $40 million per fight... They lost money on Guerrero fight so they made the Canelo fight out of desperation... After that fight I've posted here that Showtime was quite short of big PPV options, namely: Manny, Bradley, Khan (in this order). And, so far, we heard rumors about Khan and (now) Manny...

Mayweater seems to be exclusively working with Golden Boy and due to past problems (legal issues, bad blood) with Top Rank, the possibilities of him working with that company are very slim. I'm not sure if you're completely aware of the "Cold War" between Golden Boy and Top Rank, but it's prevented many years of joint promotion for big fights. Miguel Cotto fought under the Top Rank banner for most of his career, but he sort of became a "free agent" and was able to land a very lucrative fight with Mayweather.

I wouldn't be surprised if Arum gets Manny to sign a contract deal with HBO just to duck Floyd. Arum is getting Manny ducking Floyd all the way to the poor house.
