Marquez and Toney are both more stationary than Floyd....

pac in and out, side to side vs floyd's shoulder tight defense?

floyd never fought anyone with pacs caliber of movement,
      same goes with pac
pac never fought anyone with shoulder roll such as floyds

only thing pac has a + against floyd is with seen pac deal with speed vs bradley lately....
how would floyd deal with speed such as pacs?
Not sure if it has been said or not..Floyd does not always use his shoulder roll against southpaws...usually it's the high guard. Shoulder roll on inside.

If you've ever sparred you should know that mayweather shoulder roll defense does not work well against a southpaw who throws lefts with speed and power, the angles are just wrong for the person using the shoulder roll. That defense is meant to deal with orthodox fighters. Mayweather would have to use the high guard or use his legs.

I think mayweather will have better success moving around and making it a boring fight. If mayweather uses the high guard pac might be able to keep him in a shell with combinations.

It's a very interesting fight. I'm glad that there is still hope for this happening. It would be such a shame if these two dont meet. One of the biggest fight in boxing history not happening would be a tragedy.

This reminds me when all the pact-urds were saying how the ghost would beat Floyd by how the ghost beat Berto's shoulder roll being a southpaw.

You're talking about the fourth fight. I'm talking about the third fight when Marquez made him threw less than 600 punches.

Floyd is boxing genius remember? This fight already played out inside of his mind and the result Pac took away his precious 0. No wonder there are tons of videos out there showing he doesn't want any part of Pac.

I always find it funny when newbies think that Floyd use the shoulder roll against southpaw

                    hahahaha exactly.

I think that Mayweather's potshotting RIGHT CROSS would be more of a defensive move more than his Left Shoulder Roll...

and a much higher work rate. Then consider that Manny is a southpaw. So that shoulder roll will not be as effective.

but that said, Floyd will not be using it much if at all ... He will fight closer to how he has been fighting of late (both hands up). No choice.
