Floyd's Shoulder Roll vs Pacquiao's Mobility?

how is this going to play out?
pac in and out, side to side vs floyd's shoulder tight defense?

floyd never fought anyone with pacs caliber of movement,
    same goes with pac
pac never fought anyone with shoulder roll such as floyds

only thing pac has a + against floyd is with seen pac deal with speed vs bradley lately....
how would floyd deal with speed such as pacs?

It would be interesting to see Floyds shoulder roll against Pac punching from different angles.

they should fight beginning of 2015 bc they have opponents already for next year. mayweather would be 38 & pac would be 36. their both gna slow down slightly.. feet, head & hands. it'll prob come down to who aged the most & who walks into the ring with the bigger balls.

its easy to say may by UD bc at this rate of nervousness of pac he'll dance all 12. but imagine if a cotto timed jab or a mosley straight lands for pac over the shoulder roll or a judah upper cut on one of mays rollouts, nd pac jumps on him. we can only wait til fight night to know whats gon happen

one things for sure, mayweathers gna be the lightest puncher manny wouldve faced in a while nd he'll walk through those to throw his combos & bombs. at least there both exactly the same size & both fast as fck. fight needs to happen sept 2014 then rematch may 2015

If it's Floyd's shoulder roll vs. Manny's mobility... Manny's mobility will win out.

Pacquiao's speed and footwork are great for the shoulder roll (including Mayweather's)... Mayweather, though, has elite quickness, speed, and footwork to counterattack Pacquiao's offense instead of the shoulder roll.

Floyd would realize that he has to discard the shoulder roll defense against Pacquiao because it'd cause him to lose rounds (regardless of if Pacquiao's punches land or not). At that point, he'd turn it into a mid-range fight, where he would dominate Pacquiao.

Just think Judah rounds 1-4, for all 12 rounds with better accuracy , speed and power.

IMO neither floyd's shoulder roll nor pacquiao's mobility is much of a factor.

                  1. floyd doesn't use his shoulder roll as much against southpaws. look at the southpaw stance and punch.

                  2. pac's quick feet won't mean much against floyd. that duck under and move out of the way crap works on the margaritos, diaz and rios of the world not on floyd. pac will come to floyd not the other way around.

IMO the most important factors are 1. can floyd hurt pac 2. will pac stay aggressive enough to make floyd work

if floyd can hurt pac will pac keep coming? because pac has no chance in a boxing match.

if pac can take floyd's power and stay aggressive. he might have a chance. and that chance is still no more than 50/50.

i'll root for pac but floyd has most of the advantages. from style matchup to reach to size to freshness (floyd is older but less fights and wars)

it's interesting though because at least pac and floyd are close in speed dept.
